This positive development is driven by stable demand in the DACH region as well as encouraging momentum across numerous international markets. At the same time, we are benefiting from long-term growth trends that continue to strengthen our core markets.
Increasing requirements for energy efficiency, sustainability, and indoor air quality are driving global demand for precise sensor technology. With the European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), which came into force in 2024 and is being progressively implemented across member states, investments in intelligent building automation, modern HVAC systems, and continuous monitoring of technical building installations are expected to accelerate further.
Precise pressure measurement solutions make a valuable contribution in these applications, for example by enabling energy-efficient control of ventilation systems, filter monitoring, and the maintenance of defined pressure conditions in sensitive environments.
In addition, the digitalization of buildings continues to gain momentum. Operators are increasingly deploying intelligent monitoring and measurement systems to improve transparency of energy consumption, optimize system performance, and streamline maintenance processes.
